"Death" oak tarot card wall hanger
Contrary to popular belief, the death card rarely represents physical death; rather, it foreshadows the end of something - and a new beginning. The Death tarot card artwork was created by Pamela Colman Smith over 110 years ago, and is well known for being part of the Rider Waite tarot deck.
This wall hanger started life as engineered oak flooring; the design is lasered on to the 3mm thick oak veneer, and the sides are hand-sanded to a smooth finish. Finally, a coat of Danish oil is applied, which enhances the natural colour of the wood and protects it for years to come.

Every item crafted from wood is as unique as the tree it is made from; every item crafted from reclaimed wood has whispers of its previous life. Sometimes they are hidden; sometimes they are obvious, and they enhance the piece by aluding to a previous life. This means that every piece we make has slight differences - if you would like a photo of the one we are going to send before you purchase it, please get in touch and we will be happy to send you a photo of it.
